DETAILED DAY WISE ITINERARY
Day 1 – Explore the best of Kandy (Airport ? Pinnawala ? Kandy)
Your exciting tour starts as you visit the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on the way to Kandy. It is home to a number of abandoned and injured elephants, taken care of by caretakers and volunteers. Enjoy watching these gentle giants being fed and bathed, playing in the water. Later, visit the Gem Museum to find Sri Lanka’s finest semi-precious gems and sapphires, exclusively produced in the country.
After an amazing day, check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – An adventurous Nuwara Eliya Tour (Kandy to Nuwara Eliya)
On reaching Nuwara Eliya, check-in at your accommodation and gear up for an adventurous day.
First, visit the Golf course and Victoria Park for a relaxed time away from the city. Then, enjoy boating and fishing at the beautiful Lake Gregory and trout streams. After a wonderful time at the lake, head to the Hakgala Gardens a few kilometers away, for a peaceful retreat. The Hakgala Gardens are home to low-country lotus and water lilies that offer serene beauty. Also visit St. Claire’s waterfall and a working tea factory, where some of the world’s finest Orange Pekoe Tea is produced.
Return to your hotel after the wonderful city tour.
Day 3 – Splendid heritage of Bentota (Nuwara Eliya to Bentota)
Your lovely morning starts with a trip from Nuwara Eliya to Bentota.
After finishing your check-in formalities, head to Kande Vihare Temple to behold the stunning statue of Buddha, the tallest in Sri Lanka. Then, visit Sri Kalyanarama Maha Vihariya where you can find an ancient statue of Buddha in its unique form. Escape to the fascinating Madu River during the day for a lovely boat cruise amidst the lush green mangroves, and spot kingfishers, water monitor lizards, cormorants, etc.
Bentota Beach is the perfect spot for a lazy evening, so spoil yourself at the beach, snacking on the delicacies available at the beach stalls.
Day 4 – A mesmerizing Colombo Tour (Bentota to Colombo)
After check-in, get ready for an exciting city tour.
Head straight to the most popular attraction, the National Museum and find more than 100,000 exhibits of the country’s culture and history. Then, visit Viharamahadevi Park, which is right next to the museum, home to myriad colorful flora which is a treat to the eyes. Spend a calm evening at Galle Face Green, a 500-m-long ocean-side park that offers breathtaking views of the sunset. Shopping buffs can shop for a variety of goods at Beverly Street, House of Fashion, Odel, etc. You can also explore popular places of worship, as well as attractions like the Independence Hall at Independence Square, Fort District, Old Parliament Building, Twin World Trade Center towers, etc. (Entrance fee to be paid directly)

Day 5 – Goodbyes Are Never Easy (Colombo)
